Gene Autry saddles up for annual Film & Music Festival
CARTER COUNTY, OK -- Gene Autry is kicking off its 2009 Film and Music Festival Wednesday evening. The festival is presented by the Gene Autry Oklahoma Museum in honor of the historic cowboys that were made famous both on screen and in music.

CARTER COUNTY, OK -- Gene Autry is kicking off its 2009 Film and Music Festival Wednesday evening.

The festival is presented by the Gene Autry Oklahoma Museum in honor of the historic cowboys that were made famous both on screen and in music. Activities include live music, art shows, vendors, film panels and a screening of “On The Trail Of Jack Thorpe,” a new documentary about cowboy music's greatest collector.
