Ardmore Bank Robber Caught on Tape

1-30-04 - A peaceful day in Ardmore ended around 2:30pm when a man robbed a local bank, armed only with a note. Shown leaving the American National Bank on a surveillance tape, witnesses describe him as heavy set and 6 ft tall.

The bank is located along highway 70 near the Ardmore and Lone Grove city limits. Police say the robbery took only minutes and no one was hurt.

Authorities aren’t saying what was written on the note. The man left the bank and drove west in a white extended cab pickup truck. There is a $2,000 reward.
