Part of Highway 75 had to be shut down Monday afternoon after a major accident in Sherman. The accident occurred around 1 p.m. when a 36-year-old woman lost control of her vehicle, drove across the highway, and hit a light fixture.
Her vehicle ended up between the support columns of the Taylor Street overpass. The driver was taken via ambulance to Wilson N. Jones Hospital where she was treated and released.
