01-31-04-- More than 100 people turned out Saturday to search for an Antlers man missing now for more than three years, but their search did not turn up any new clues on the whereabouts of Jeffrey Lee Ben. Ben disappeared in January 2001 when he never came home from a Super Bowl party.

Volunteers started their search at dawn Saturday and combed 50 square miles of mountainous terrain in the Clayton Lake area. The search began not far from where Jeffrey's truck was found abandoned days after he was reported missing.

Investigators and family members hoped Saturday's search would turn up new clues about what happened to Jeffrey.

Investigators have made little progress in solving the case. Jeffrey would now be 22-years-old.
