Goodwill officials are looking ahead with the building of a new warehouse. Local Goodwill officials say they are out of space at the current location on East Lamar in Sherman.
Once finished, their new building will be bigger and be able to provide a better work environment for future trainees.
Frank Purdom of Goodwill Industries says Goodwill provides citizens with basic work skills to develop a good work history.
An average of 300 people monthly are place din jobs through the company, and after the expansion Purdom says they hope to add an additional 50 to 100 employees to that total.
"We'll be able to put more people to work, to have jobs, and to have paychecks, and be able to put more money in the community."
The building is scheduled to be completed in less than five months.
