2-10-04 - Ardmore police say they have their man in a charity rip-off at a local convenience store Saturday. But it's not the first high-profile trouble for Sean Jacobs. Jacobs made the news in October when police say he tried to break into an Ardmore convenience store on highway 70. But before he could get inside, the owner shot him in the face. Jacobs would bond out a few weeks later, and last Saturday night police say a surveillance camera showed him at Lasley's One Stop, where he stole a jar full of money meant for a charity. Jacobs was arrested Monday for petty larceny, but his original bond could likely be revoked for Saturday’s incident.
