1 injured in accident at controversial Sherman intersection

SHERMAN, TX -- At least one person was hospitalized after a two-car accident At an intersection many claim is extremely dangerous. Just a few months ago in June two Good Samaritans were killed during an accident at the intersection of State Highway 11 and FM 1417 in Sherman.

Sherman firefighters say a Honda sedan and a pickup collided at Highway 11, also known as Luella Road, and FM 1417 around 4:30 Monday afternoon.

At least one person was taken to Wilson N. Jones with what authorities are calling non-life threatening injuries.
