SOUTH HOLLAND, IL -- An Ada man, one of two suspects in a Chicago-area bank robbery Thursday.

SOUTH HOLLAND, IL -- An Ada man, one of two suspects in a Chicago-area bank robbery Thursday.

The Chicago Office of the FBI announced that 30-year-old Patrick R. Martin of Ada, and 46-year-old John R. Gower of Fairview, Oklahoma are suspects in the robbery of the First National Bank of South Holland Illinois.

The bank manager told authorities they received a telephone call thursday thursday morning from someone who claimed a bomb had been placed in the bank.

Martin reportedly entered the bank, left with 95 thousand dollars, and got into a car driven by Gower.

The two men were arrested after a high speed chase and shoot out that ended when the robbers crashed their car on an Illinois freeway.

Both men have been charged with one count of Aggravated Bank robbery.
