GAINESVILLE--A state-wide investigation into the Texas Youth Commission, now reaching to a local TYC school. Officials at the school said the chaplain is on administrative leave.

Gainesville State School superintendent Paul Barush said the youth correctional facility's chaplain, Phillip Payne, was placed on paid administrative leave.

Barush said a complaint was filed against Payne, but there are no allegations of sexual misconduct. The investigation into the complaint is a precaution.

The Gainesville investigation is part of a look into sexual abuse allegations at TYC facilities across the state.
