Man Killed in Multiple Car Accident

3-9-04 - A Denison man was killed in a car accident along Highway 82 in Grayson county Tuesday, after he was initially involved in a fender-bender.

DPS troopers say Allen David Jolliff of Denison was in a minor accident with a Plano man, and they’d parked along the shoulder near Sadler to exchange information. But that’s when another car, driven by a Sadler woman, ran into the parked cars, sending Jolliff’s car spinning into him. He died later of his injuries.

The woman’s car then flipped onto its top in the middle of the highway and was hit by a pickup. All the other drivers and occupants escaped without major injuries. Troopers say it appears the woman was passing another car and when she moved back into the right lane, she swerved onto the shoulder.
