Hall Declared Winner in District 4

3-9-04 - With a large lead amid early returns, the Associated Press has declared Ralph Hall as the winner in the GOP primary for US Representative District 4. With just more than five-percent of the precincts reporting, Hall led with 80-percent of the vote. The 11-term incumbent switched parties this year, after 21 years as a democrat in the U.S. House.

Meanwhile, the AP has also declared Jim Nickerson as the democratic nominee for District 4.
