SHERMAN- Some Sherman residents were still without water this morning after water main malfunctions occurred last night.
City officials say a water main replacement project was scheduled to be completed by ten o'clock last night but leaks discovered in the pipes had crews working throughout the night.
Officials say repairs are now complete and residents west of 1417 and north of Highway 56 should now have their water back on.
Officials want to let residents of a few helpful tips as the water is turned back on.
"It's good for them to open exterior facets to drain any air or debris that may have got in the lines," said Kevin Winkler, an engineering technician for the City of Sherman.
