3-11-04 - The old Pillsbury plant in Denison could have a new owner. Three possible buyers have all shown serious interest in the past week and have toured the plant. It’s been vacant for more than a year, when Pillsbury left town after decades in Denison. They left behind the 30,000 square foot building. The Denison Development Alliance says two of the companies have put the plant on their short list of locations for either a manufacturing or distributing business. 250 to 300 jobs could be at stake. The DDA has made incentive offers to both companies, which so far are unnamed. A decision from either company could take months, but one could make a decision as soon as this week.
