Pedestrian Killed In Denison

2-23-04 - A Paris man is dead after he was hit while crossing the road in Denison. Authorities say, 38 year old Jay Edward Curlile was pronounced dead at Parkland Hospital in Dallas after he was hit Saturday night. Police say Edwards was crossing FM 84 and Highway 75 around 7:30pm on Saturday. Carlile walked in front of the path of a Ford Mustang. Carlile was orginally pronounced dead on the scene but moments later EMS felt a pulse and rushed him to a hospital. Carlile died later that night. Authorities say they believe he didn't see the Mustang coming.
