BRYAN COUNTY, OK- A homicide investigation in Bryan County today has authorities looking within one family.

Neighbors say they never thought anything like this could happen in their community. Five miles south of Bennington, Craig Andrews allegedly shot and killed his father.

Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation officials say law enforcement officers received a call around 9:45 last night about a shooting at 186 Midland Road.

When they arrived on the scene, they found 63-year-old Steven Andrews shot dead.

Andrews' son, Craig Andrews, was taken to the Bryan County Jail and is still there at this hour.

Bryan County district attorney Emily Redman says they expect to have the results of the sheriff's office investigation later today.

Neighbors like Lisa Shastib who have known this family for years are still shaken up.

"We've never had any problems with them, they smile at you, they talk to you, they've always been nice people, including him. I never knew there were any problems there."

OSBI officials say as to why Andrews allegedly shot his father is still under investigation.
