Two upper level waves will interact with a warm and very moist air mass to generate thunderstorms through Saturday. Lightning and torrential rainfall that could cause flash flooding are the primary threats...with a secondary threat of damaging winds. Turn around, don't drown!
An overturned semi forced authorities to shut down part of Highway 377 in Marshall County this afternoon.
The accident occurred just before one o'clock this afternoon.
Troopers say the driver of the semi fell asleep and drifted off the road.
He then tried to steer the vehicle back on to the highway, over-corrected, and ended up skidding several feet before rolling.
No injuries were reported in the wreck.
