(McKinney-AP) -- McKinney Police Chief Doug Kowalkski says today
that the shooting deaths of four people "does not appear to be a
random act."

Rosa Barbosa, 46; Mark Barbosa, 25; and Austin York, 18, died
Friday at Rosa Barbosa's home, where the shootings occurred. A
fourth person, 17 year old Matthew Self, died at a hospital
Saturday.

The killings sparked shock and fear in the city of 70,000 some
30 miles north of Dallas. Self and York were members of McKinney
North High School's football team.

The chief says the police theory is that the two football
players were not initially targeted, and may have happened onto the
wrong place at the wrong time.

Kowalski says police combed the house for clues and found no
drugs. He asked for the public's help in locating a tan 1999 Chevrolet
crew cab pickup taken at the time of the shootings. The pickup -- last driven by Self -- had a Texas license plate number of 3CPJ17.
