Funeral services set, suspect arraigned in Bryan Co. child’s murder
DURANT, OK – The Sherman man accused of murdering an 11-year old Cartwright girl is being held without bond in the Bryan County Jail. Funeral services for Dakota Hughes will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Cartwright.

DURANT, OK – The Sherman man accused of murdering an 11-year old Cartwright girl is being held without bond in the Bryan County Jail.
Jason Belew claimed he was innocent Wednesday as he was taken into the Bryan County Jail and placed in an isolated cell.
Belew is charged with first degree murder for the death of 11-year-old Dakota Hughes on Sunday Morning. Officials with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation believe that Dakota may have been strangled to death.
Funeral services for Dakota Hughes will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Cartwright. Cunningham Funeral Home in Colbert is handling the arrangements.
Belew's preliminary hearing has been set for January 14, 2010.
