After being shut off for a day and a half, the water is back on in Hugo. Crews began turning water back on around one o'clock this afternoon. Problems with construction are being blamed on the extended shut-off. The water plant is undergoing $4 million worth of repairs. Service was scheduled to be restored by Sunday morning.
Hugo residents are also under a mandatory boil order until further notice while samples are analyzed by the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality.
