A high-speed chase started about two o'clock this morning when a Kingston police officer spotted a Toyota sail by him on Highway 70 going 92 miles an hour.

He attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver kept going and he did not stop until he traveled eighty miles through four counties.

Scott Wanager, 24, and Holly Peltier, 26, ended up in the Marshall County Jail facing a slew of charges.

When the couple reached Bryan County, they were clocked at 130 miles per hour.

Inside their car, which was reported stolen out of Alabama, police found a number of credit card, driver's licenses, social security numbers, and three license plates.

Authorities believe the two had hit homes all over the United States and were wanted out of several states.

Investigators say the pair would hide out at state parks and has most recently been staying in the Durant area.

The couple is from Missouri, where police say Wanager was just released from a state penitentiary there.

Officials are still investigating whether they burglarized homes in Texoma.
