03-21-04- A young child was seriously injured in an ATV accident in Pottsboro Sunday night. Rescuers believe he had probably been mudding behind some homes in the 200 block of Jeron Drive.
It happened around 6 p.m. when the child crashed the vehicle. Emergency crews say the driver suffered serious injuries to his lower body. He was taken by Lifestar Helicopter to the Dallas Children's Hospital.
Paramedics believe the minor victim may have been mudding on the ATV and speed may have been a factor.
