KINGSTON - Authorities in Kingston say a manhunt that lasted nearly four hours has ended. Officers have Curtis Odell Davis of Madill in custody after he escaped officers during a traffic stop after 3:00 PM Sunday.

Officers say they found Davis hiding underneath a mobile home, off of US Highway 70 in Kingston.

They say when Davis was pulled over behind the Super-C grocery store, he ran off with an officer's weapon. Various reports and eyewitness accounts say Davis shot in the direction of an officer, but these have not been confirmed.

Davis is now in the custody of the Kingston Police Department.
