GRAYSON COUNTY, TX -- A Grayson County Judge decided Thursday that Christopher Hussey will serve his sentences concurrently for a total of 50 years.
Hussey was given a 20-year sentence in Collin County for a 2004 aggravated robbery where he stole prescription medication from an Eckerd's Drug Store in Plano. Later that same day, Hussey fired a shotgun from a moving vehicle at a DPS patrol officer in Pottsboro during a high speed chase. For that crime he was given an additional 30 years.
Grayson County district attorney Joe Brown says he was disappointed because a lot of people were endangered and that Hussey never took responsibility for his actions.
Hussey will be eligible for parole in 10 years.
