CALERA - Two people are dead after an accident on Highway 69-75 last night in Calera. Calera police say it happened at 8:30 last night.
A four door Buick carrying three people was in the median traveling east on Washington Street attempting to cross the north bound lanes when a Toyota pick-up traveling northbound struck the vehicle, killing two passengers instantly.
After the accident, Calera police found there was a warrant out for the arrest of the driver, Richard Allen Glassco, for a narcotics violation.
He was taken to the Bryan County Jail but is free on bond. The accident is still under investigation. Calera police say they do not know what caused the wreck.
The Oklahoma State Highway Patrol are currently investigating the accident.
