ARDMORE - An Ardmore man is in an Oklahoma City hospital today after police say he was assaulted early this morning just after midnight in the 700 block of Ash Street Northwest.

Police say the man was trying to get into a home there, but the residents were trying to keep him out.

When they found him, he had a deep gash in his head.

Paramedics transported him to mercy memorial, but he was later taken to Presbyterian Hospital in Oklahoma City because he was bleeding from the brain.

No word on his condition.

I live several blocks from where this incident occurred. These young guys are doing drugs and getting "HIGH" and now to commit "MURDER", it's ridiculous. Wonder if the juveniles will be charged as adults? 5 on 1, now that's fighting fair-NOT!
