DENISON - Chamber officials are honoring years of service to Denison, Texas, with their latest move to rename a local landmark.

Denison Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors voted to rename the chamber building the McKinney Building in honor of Anna McKinney and her late husband, Roy.

"It’s a very special honor not only to my husband but also to me and all the years that I’ve had the blessing to work for this community."

Anna has served ten years as president of the chamber. Roy was well-known across the area in the field of marine insurance.

He also served as president of the Denison Chamber of Commerce.
