HOUSTON -- Three people were injured in an accident Saturday night in Houston. Sources say one of the students involved in the accident was a Sherman High School student.

A Harris County Sheriff's Office report says Alex De La Cruz was driving westbound on a county road at 11:40 Saturday night. Deputies say he was speeding and ran off the road.

The car went airborne, and all three people inside were not wearing their seat belts.

They have all been taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital for treatment.

De La Cruz has been named the suspect. Deputies say he was driving under the influence of an illegal drug.
