High speed chase in Bryan County

BRYAN COUNTY , Okla. -- A high speed chase this morning in Bryan County ended just before eight o’clock after the suspect fled on foot.

KXII was at the scene live this morning where authorities set up a perimeter at Highway 70 and Leavenworth Trail.

Authorities were able to apprehend the suspect just before eight o’clock, who is now in custody.

It happened just before 4:30 this morning on Highway 70 towards Kingston.

Officials were chasing a 2002 Ford utility truck when the driver jumped out of the car and fled.

The name of the suspect has not been released.

The case is still under investigation.

    This article is about a chase in Bryan County, not John Canoe or his department. If you live here and are so unhappy,leave. If you don't live in Kingston you may not know what you are talking about, so keep ugly comments to yourself.

    I think the Kingston Police Department is doing a fine job in the Town of Kingston and they always work well in helping other departments in return for them helping Kingston Police
