GRAYSON COUNTY, TX -- A former Pottsboro coach and teacher has been indicted for allegedly having an inappropriate relationship with a student. The Grayson County District Attorney's office says 31-year old Ryan Tate was officially charged with the second degree felony of improper relationship between an educator and a student.

Tate resigned amid controversy last month when it surfaced he had allegedly engaged in a sexual relationship with one of his students.

Tate is now free on $10,000 bond. He is expected to enter a plea at a hearing on November 18.

If convicted, Tate could face two to twenty years in prison.
