CARTER COUNTY, OK -- A Healdton woman is out of jail after being arrested allegedly embezzling $60, 000 from a company that oversees a local nursing home.

Authorities say Sharon Bailey embezzled over $60,000 while serving as the administrator for the Healdton Nursing home.

According to the Elmbrook Management Company, which owns and operates the facility, Bailey had allegedly stolen the entire sum of money over the course of three years.

A county judge released Bailey on Wednesday with a preliminary hearing scheduled for November 24. If convicted, Bailey could face up to ten years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
