DENISON -- Members of the Denison community paid their respects to Sean Fryer, 17, this morning. Denison High School students, along with other family and friends, filled Saint Luke's Episcopal Church this morning to say goodbye to a friend.
Just last Wednesday friends and family met here for a prayer service in hope they would find Sean safe.
The Denison teen’s body was found in Waterloo Lake last Thursday after being missing for nearly a week.
Now today they paid their respects.
Friends describe Sean as an outgoing person. He played football for Denison High School and wanted to be a firefighter when he grew up.
They say he loved life and enjoyed having a good time.
After the service Sean was buried at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park in Sherman.
Investigators are still working to determine the cause of Sean’s death.
