Escaped prisoner in Lamar County

Video will be available shortly.

PARIS -- U.S. Marshals are looking for a man they're calling armed and dangerous.

They say David Ryan Robison escaped from Lamar County custody on Tuesday. He had been in jail on state and federal meth charges.

Marshals wouldn't release the details of how he escaped, but say he was last seen in the 100 block of East Cherry Street in Paris. His abandoned car was also found nearby.

"We are considering him armed and dangerous. It’s very important no one should try and approach him, information is appreciated, but they definitely need to get a hold of law enforcement," said Marta Fonda with the U.S. Marshal's Office.

Marshals are working with the Joint East Texas Fugitive Apprehension Task Force to find Robison.

They say he has relatives in southeast Oklahoma but may be headed to the Dallas area.

The U.S. Marshals have announced there is a substantial financial reward for any information leading to Robison's arrest in this case. If you have information, please call...
