SHERMAN -- Union steelworkers in Sherman voted Tuesday to ratify a new three year contract with Terex Redrill.
Union representative Jerry Storms says the contract was ratified with an overwhelming majority--about 90 % of the union members voted for it.
Storms says the contract calls for a 3 % pay increase each year for three years and moderate changes in vacation policy.
Union members say their previous contract with Terex Redrill expired on Friday.
About 90 out of the 150 workers at Terex Redrill are union members.
