Rape Alleged at Local Football Stadium

4-30-04 - Authorities may soon file charges in the alleged rape of a 13 year old girl from Caddo, who claims she was raped on school grounds on March 19th.

She told police it happened inside a men’s bathroom at the Caddo football stadium. School officials admitted that door should have been locked. The suspect is a former football player, who was actually a student this year until he dropped out.

Police have finished their investigation and turned it over to the Bryan County District Attorney. No word on how soon or if charges will be filed, but the suspect won’t be hard to find. He’s currently in the Bryan County jail on a charge of burglary.
