DENISON -- A house fire in Denison this morning is still under investigation.

The fire happened on Bond Street before noon on Monday. Neighbors say they saw a bolt of lightning before the fire, but authorities aren't yet sure it was lightning that started it.

"We did have fire coming out of the west end of the structure upon arrival. We haven't been able to get in to investigate...it was right in the middle of the storm. That’s one of the first things the fire marshal will look at." said Assistant Denison Fire Chief Don Coley.

There is visible damage to the exterior of the house. No one was hurt in the fire.
