SPRINGER, Okla. -- Officials say weather is also to blame for an oil tank fire this morning in Carter County.
They say lightning caused a Chesapeake Energy tank to explode north of Springer about 7 a.m. Monday.
The explosion set another nearby gas tank on fire.
Firefighters from Springer and A Clean Environment in Lone Grove responded, using foam to put the fire out.
No one was injured in the fire.
