Tioga man gets 6+ years on child pornography charge

Bobby Jack Brooks, 50, of Tioga plead guilty to the charge of possession of child pornography last Friday.

The Secret Service found over 90 photographs containing child pornography on Brooks’ computer.

His punishment could have varied anywhere from probation to ten years in prison

    I wish to think the people of Tioga and Grayson co for there support in this case the Tioga Police Dept and the secret service computer lab worked hard to recover this evidence.

    The newspaper said he was talking to kids on the internet acting like a teenager. I'm glad the jury didn't give this guy probation. Who knows what he has actually done.

    Makes you wonder does this freak have kids or GRANDKIDS what would he think if someone had pictures of them? But he probably has pictures of them also. He don't deserve prison time he should be put down. Rid society of scumbags like him.

    this person obviously done wrong and he knew it is wrong but there has to be a cure for these kind of people with this problem taking avantage of children and going to jail and recieveing 3 squares a day is not harsh enough to learn from.the people in charge of correcting need to bring back the chain gang of the old days as sort of public humiliation or do what the do in other countries to detour this behavior with much stiffer penalties the laws have become to lax and doing so might solve the over crowding situation....
