5-6-04 - A Grayson County grand jury indicted Andre Thomas Thursday for the murder of his wife and four year old son. Prosecutors are still working on evidence in the murder of 18-month old Leyha Hughes. They say Thomas stabbed the three of them to death in late March, and then mutilated the bodies.

Thomas has been under suicide watch since he gouged out his own eye just days after his arrest. His defense attorneys say he is emotionally unstable, and are lobbying for him to be moved to a mental facility.
