5-13-04 - Grayson County College’s new Van Alstyne campus is now open for education. Local officials cut the ribbon on the new facility Thursday afternoon and classes will begin on Monday.

The $5.8 million campus will serve 500 to 600 students. It will offer every course available at the main campus in Denison. School leaders hope the campus will draw students from surrounding communities that make up some of the fastest growing areas of north Texas.
