Near Glen Rose, Texas, floodwaters claimed the lives of two people today.

Texas Parks and Wildlife officials say 28 year old game warden Ty Patterson drowned after his boat capsized in the Paluxy River.

Patterson had been working to recover the body of a 16 year old who had drowned this morning while trying to save another teen from the rushing water.

A spokesperson says Patterson is the second game warden to die on the job this year.

This is so sad... I hope people read this and realize how dangerous flood water is. It puts you and the person trying to save you in danger! Stay away from high or rushing water!!!
