WILSON, Okla. -- After fighting the war on terror, family and friends will remember a Wilson man as he's laid to rest.

They will say goodbye to a man whose legacy as an American war hero makes them proud.

19-year-old Army Specialist Clinton Coy Blodgett died last weekend in Iraq.

The military said he was killed when his vehicle was hit by a bomb.

Blodgett actually used his body to protect several soldiers also riding in that vehicle.

Blodgett’s funeral will be Tuesday at two o'clock at the Alexander Funeral Home.
