Ardmore Man Stabbed to Death
5-20-04 - An Ardmore woman is in jail, after a brutal overnight murder. At 1:30 a.m., police responded to a 9-1-1 hang up at a home in the 900 block of Burch Street Northwest.
Authorities found 41-year-old Essie Clark covered in blood. Her live-in boyfriend, 44 year old Kennedy Neely lay dead on the living room floor.
Police say Clark Stabbed Neely in the upper chest after an argument.
Two children, 11 and seven-years-old, were also in the house. Both have been taken to a relative’s home.
Clark is in the Carter County jail awaiting arraignment.
