SHERMAN, TX-- Antique cars and motorcycles gathered at the Texoma Harley Davidson and made the loop to Denison and back before heading to the Elks Lodge for some dinner, Sunday.

The 15th annual "For the Kids, Toy Run" in partnership with the Salvation Army, puts donations into the hands of those who really need it.

Stan Masson has been part of the toy run for years. "We're hunters and gatherers for them," he said, "We are trying to do our best to help out every year and we've done very well over the past fifteen years."

Hundreds packed the lodge to grab some dinner and warm up but the feeling of the holidays kept their spirits up during the chilly 30 mile trip.

"It's a very warm feeling inside," Holley Lox said. "Because there's so many families that are doing without because of the economy and it's just a blessing."

Tom Bean students volunteered to serve dinner to the riders, and a large check was presented to the Captains of the Grayson County Salvation Army.

"We look forward to this every year," the Captain said. "Ya'll do a great job. I'm so glad you had a successful and safe journey this year."

Other activities at the lodge included music, a raffle, and a visit from Santa!
