SHERMAN, TX -- A war hero was in town Tuesday to speak to troubled teens about how to better themselves in life.

SHERMAN, TX -- A war hero was in town Tuesday to speak to troubled teens about how to better themselves in life.

Captain Scott O'Grady spoke to inmates at the Grayson County Juvenile Detention Center.

Detention Center officials say they wanted O'Grady to talk to the

O'Grady says he was there to tell his story after nearly losing his life several times in different war zones to inspire the inmates to not lose hope and not to give up on their future.

O'Grady is now on the Texas Juvenile Probation Board.
