Air Evac Lifeteam: New Name, New Home
SHERMAN--The air medical team formerly known as Sherman Texas Lifestar will now officially go by Air Evac Lifeteam.

SHERMAN--The air medical team formerly known as Sherman Texas Lifestar will now officially go by Air Evac Lifeteam.
They held an open house on Saturday inviting the public to their new facility off of highway 75 in Sherman.
Air Evac is the largest provider of air ambulances in the world.
The team showed off their new uniforms and their newly wrapped helicopter.
After moving from Wilson N. Jones, the team found a new facility in a former model home no longer in use by the builder.
Scott Williams, a member of the Evac team said, “We recently moved from Wilson N. Jones hospital in an effort to more streamline our operation. We've been able to put the quarters, fueling facilities, maintenance facilities, hangar, pad and all in one location. We were kind of spread out at the hospital in more than one location so this operates more of an efficient operation. "

GCC receives $675,000 grant
