Man, 70, found dead in car in Cooke County

Video will be available shortly.

COOKE COUNTY - A Cooke County family is grieving after one of their own is found dead in his car on a county road. Now they're looking for answers. They're asking for the public's help to try to catch the people responsible.

Charlie Skinner was 70 years old. He was found dead Saturday morning.

"We were just stunned, we're still stunned, we just can't believe that someone would do this to him, he didn't deserve this," his son, Bo Skinner said.

Skinner said he wants to remember his father for the man he was.

"If you ain't got no money, you ain't got no Charlie, that's all his favorite words was, he loved to fish hunt and everything, he was just a good 'ol guy."

Skinner's sister-in-law agrees.

"He loved to go visit people and the coffee shops he loved to talk to people and tell stories and stuff like that."

The Cooke County Sheriff's Office is still investigating. They suspect foul play. If you have any information, you're asked to call the Cooke County Sheriff's Office at (940) 665-3471.
