BONHAM, TX -- Hundreds spent their Saturday at the 7th annual Heritage Days in Bonham.
Visitors enjoyed food, live music, and celebrated not only the county's heritage -- but history of the civil war.
Military vehicles were on display, several re-enactments were held and visitors even got to shoot a musket. Organizers say the annual festival is a way for history to carry on.
"Basically, we're trying to show what our ancestors lived through, how they lived, why they lived, the people that got to where we are today," Doug Garnett said.
Despite the new last minute location change, due to two buildings collapsing in downtown Bonham, organizers say they saw a great turn out.
