MADILL, OK -- A fire that broke out Tuesday night heavily damages a Madill home may have started as a resident tried to stay warm in this cold weather.

It happened just after 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at 1155 Jagger Road.

The Marshall County Sheriff's Office says one woman was in the home at the time, but crews got her out safely.

Authorities report the fire started in the home's central air and heating unit, but no word on the exact cause, or a dollar estimate of damage.
