Very heavy rainfall is expected in several waves, early Friday morning, again Friday evening/night, and a final round during the day Saturday. Storm totals to 8 inches are possible.
Events across Texoma were held on Saturday, to commemorate this year’s Juneteenth celebration.
In Sherman, the festivities were held at Martin Luther King park. Activities included a hay ride, horseback riding, dunking booth, as well as food vendors from all over. Classic cars and trucks were on display for everyone to enjoy. The natural changes band out of Dallas was there to keep the party going.
Tracy Ross, Event Coordinator says, “We would like if everyone would come out and support us next year. What we try to do is make it a bigger and better thing and help us support the youth in the community"
