SHERMAN -- A leading Sherman employer is moving out and moving up. Crews packed up 800 employee offices at Cigna Healthcare on Friday, hauling office furniture and supplies in moving trucks across town.

Cigna's old building on Taylor Street in Sherman will be completely emptied this weekend.

On Monday, the company will open the doors to their new state of the art facility in Denison.

The brand new, 140,000 square-foot, building should bring about 400 jobs to the area.

C'mon up to Denison, Cigna! Hard to believe that Sherman would let their 2nd largest employer leave, but we're happy to have ya!

Congrats to Cigna, in what will likely be the biggest boondoggle in Sherman political history. That beautiful new facility will certainly look nice on the DISD tax rolls, it would have looked even better on Sherman's. Sherman let this one get away, good for Denison.
